Coaching Toward Purpose was born from a passion to see individuals and organizations rise with clarity, courage, and calling. Founded by Alexis A. Nelson, this enterprise reflects her deep commitment to personal development, leadership excellence, and purposeful living.
Alexis brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her work. She holds a B.A. in Organizational Communication, a Master’s in Social Work LSW, and is a Licensed Clinical Christian Counselor. She is the CEO and Founder of both Coaching Toward Purpose and Be Exceptional Support Together. She is also a Symbis certified facilitator for premarital counsel. As a Maxwell Leadership Certified Speaker, Teacher, Trainer, and Coach, an ordained minister of the gospel, a published author, a notary public, and a Ph.D. candidate (graduating December 2025), Alexis is uniquely equipped to serve clients from all walks of life.
At the heart of her mission is a desire to help people rediscover their God-given potential. Alexis believes that purpose is already within you just need the right tools, insight, and encouragement to unlock it. She specializes in issues of the heart, relationship building, spiritual growth, and leadership development, and provides practical and faith-based support to individuals and teams.
